A Visit To The Giant Stalagmites At The Batu Caves

Malaysia is among the most sought after tourist destination in Southeast Asia. It is largely visited by several tourists of the world and this is the reason why its tourism sector is so much developed. This year we visited Malaysia and our entire experience was awesome. This destination is highly recommended to others who love to travel and explore beautiful destinations on earth.

Among all the tourist attractions in Malaysia explored by us, The Batu Caves is the best one as per our choice. The caves are located at a distance of about 12 kilometers from the capital city of Malaysia i.e. Kuala Lumpur. Inside the caverns you will get the glimpse of massive stalactites and stalagmites. The caverns are a part of the giant limestone hill that is almost 400 million year old.

When we decided to visit Malaysia, we searched for the best Singapore and Malaysia tour packages. It was a total tour of 8 to 9 days which covered almost all must visit destinations in Singapore and Malaysia.

It was 9 o’clock when we were wandering on the streets of Kuala Lumpur and shopping for chic outfits from the mammoth malls of this area. Shopaholics will love to satisfy their heart with the most fashionable collections of clothing and other accessories. After filling our empty bags with some pairs of jeans, T-shirts and some pieces of jewelry, we visited The Batu Caves.

The caves are among the most important sights of Hindu religion outside India. When we visited this place we were surprised to see the crowd over there. Tourists were even ready to climb 272 steps to explore the caverns. At this place you will enjoy the splendid sight of the giant golden statue of Lord Murugan, the Hindu God of War. The huge limestone hill houses the Temple Cave, Dark Cave, and the Art Gallery Cave. While some tourists visit here to explore the caves others come here to enjoy activities like rock climbing.

If you also want to enjoy the mesmeric sights of the caves, do visit The Batu Caves in Malaysia by choosing a comprehensive International tour package from a reputed travel company.
